About Maria

Maria Walters first went into the writing business at the age of nine, when she traded a hand-written and -illustrated story for a set of Brio trains. Ever since, she has wittily wrangled the written word.

Now known to some professors as “the English major who got away,” Maria graduated Pacific University in 2009 with majors in German Studies and Mathematics, and minors in English Literature and Computer Science. Her diverse liberal arts background gives her general insight into even the most obscure subjects.
